Backing Up Part 1

A computer's hard drive is the most important part of the computer since that is where all the owner's hard work is stored. Yet it is the least reliable part of the computer. Why? Hard drives are mechanical devices with lots of complex moving parts. Any time you combine complexity and moving parts you have a recipe for disaster.
